Subtract the APs of Power from the time (in APs) necessary to perform some task.Travel at a speed equal to the APs of Power, and.Add the APs of Power when calculating Initiative to perform any action,. ![]() A Character with this Power can do a number of things: Superspeed gives a Character the ability to move, run, type, read, or perform any other physical action faster than is humanly possible. I found this in a 3rd edition version of DC Heroes. If you find the rework, please post a link or something. I loved how it handled both ends of the superhero spectrum (from Batman to Superman), and especially how it took care of both success and result with one roll. I played the heck out of DCHRPG back in the day. Wow, I didn't even know someone had done that. I don't remember enough about what the site was to try and use the wayback machine, so - is anyone here possibly familiar with this, and if so would you by any chance have a copy of the superspeed re-write? I can't find the hard copy I had made, and the site doesn't exist anymore. It combined all the things that are generally done with superspeed into the power while increasing base and factor cost - something like Continuum Control where it has several powers listed as subpowers. Anyway, the last time we played it, there was a site that had done a rework of the superspeed power after the introduction of the Speed Force. I also started looking at online resources, and as you can well imagine, they've pretty well dried up over the years, since the game has been out of print forever, and it wasn't huge to begin with. I recently dug these books out of storage - I haven't played it in probably 10 years or more, but it was a really well put together system, and worked very well for its genre. See? Totally not Wolverine.Okay, this is a long shot. But he's totally not Wolverine you see, because in addition to the loner anti-hero attitude, the mean temper, the super-regeneration and healing, the Japanese martial arts, and the metallic claws, he can also throw acid-tipped darts from his body. That secret military experiment? It gave him metallic claws. He has a Japanese background, studied Japanese martial arts, is a loner with a mean temper, and was altered in a secret military experiment. One of the NPCs is an anti-hero who has super-regeneration and can heal himself really, really quickly. Pages 232 through 345 are all about the Blood of Heroes "universe." Think about an incredibly fanboyish hack of the '90s Marvel and Image comic books, filled with anti-heroes galore who love their guns. It is also far from being the only infringing piece. The cover is the game's best artwork by far. And the artwork is so terrible that it deserves warnings. I didn't want to overwhelm or threadjack the original thread, so I made a new one. As Tristram said, some people in the sexy art thread wanted examples of Blood of Heroes' artwork.
